Challenge

To provide consumers with complete transparency into their products, L’Oréal Canada has proceeded to include SmartLabel™ QR codes on all their Garnier products. They want to connect with all their Canadian consumers no matter what language they speak; English or French.

Solution

As part of implementation, L’Oréal Canada is including SmartLabel™ Language Detection QR codes on their Garnier products. Through a scan, consumers whose mobile device language is set to English are sent to English SmartLabel™ pages. Consumers whose mobile device language is set to French are sent to French SmartLabel™ pages. To stay consistent with the Garnier branding, every QR code contains a branded short URL
