Two Leading Operators in Denmark Will Now Support the ScanLife Platform

New York – October 28, 2008 – Scanbuy, a global leader in mobile marketing solutions, announced today that Sonofon, the second largest mobile operator in Denmark will support its ScanLife 2D barcode platform. TDC had earlier announced their support for the technology, and together they provide wireless service to 80 percent of the Danish market.

ScanLife and EZcodes (2D barcodes) immediately connect physical media to mobile information and content through the camera phone. The technology removes the need to type in long URLs or search by keywords on the phone. Since ScanLife was launched, thousands of subscribers have downloaded the free mobile application. Users have scanned EZcodes from the Metro Xpress newspaper in Copenhagen, music magazines like Soundvenue, and most recently from a James Bond sweepstakes campaign.

Advertisers and content providers can create and manage their own 2D barcode campaigns through the ScanLife Code Management Platform (www.scanlife.com/dk). Individuals can also create their own EZcodes for free, creating links to their contact information or networking sites.

To support the business, Scanbuy has opened a local office in Copenhagen to be run by Jesper Stuhr, a veteran from the telecom business. Mr. Stuhr most recently helped to launch Vopium in Denmark, and was previously a partner at Dangaard Telecom group where he headed the launch of the first Skype cordless phones.

“The response throughout Denmark thus far has been tremendous, and now this partnership with Sonofon brings the technology to millions of additional Danish subscribers,” said Jonathan Bulkeley, Chief Executive Officer of Scanbuy. “We are also thrilled to open a local office which demonstrates our dedication to building a 2D barcode market in Denmark.”

Sonofon is owned by Telenor, the ninth largest mobile operator in the world, with mobile operations in 12 countries worldwide and a strong Nordic-based business in Norway, Sweden and Demark.

Subscribers across all local operators can download ScanLife mobile application by texting ‘scan’ to 1220. The ScanLife Code Management Platform has also been deployed and supported by leading mobile providers and handset manufacturers in France, Spain, Brazil, Mexico, the Philippines, and the United States. Other markets are expected to launch throughout 2008.
