New Hires Continue Wireless Solutions Provider’s Global Expansion  

New York, NY Sept 25, 2007– Scanbuy, Inc., (scanbuy.com), a global provider of mobile marketing solutions, today announced the addition of two senior professionals who will further drive the company’s expansion in both technology development and carrier relations in preparation for increased global activity.

Parvathy Bhaskaran, Senior Vice President Engineering and Chief Technology Officer, brings deep mobile services IT and intellectual property expertise. She was most recently with Motorola as the Director of Engineering, XperienceWare in the handset business unit. In this role, she ran all engineering and technical operations for delivering end-to-end services (eXperiences) to mobile devices. Her responsibilities included leading a geographically distributed, global advanced technology team through the entire innovation lifecycle from idea/IP creation to rapid concept prototyping to commercial deployment. At Scanbuy, Bhaskaran plans to focus on strategic global opportunities for unlocking, extending and commercializing the full potential of the Scanbuy mobile marketing platform

Scanbuy also added Sheila Malvagna to their existing veteran management team. As Senior Director, Carrier Relations, Malvagna brings eighteen years of experience in the wireless industry, including a variety of leadership positions in sales and business development. She has extensive experience working with wireless carriers and a particular emphasis on introducing emerging technologies to new markets. Most recently, Malvagna was Director of Sales for the Americas at Glu Mobile, a leading global publisher of mobile games. There she developed key partner relationships with several wireless carriers in the U.S. and was also responsible for building Glu Mobile’s Latin American distribution from the ground up. Malvagna has also held regional management positions at Good Technology, Netonomy, Corsair Communications, and Mobile Telecommunication Technologies.
