ClikGenie Brings Mobile Merchandising To Life At Retail

New York, NY June 28, 2010 – Soon, consumers at many retail locations will be able to "scan" virtually any item with their mobile phone and instantly get additional information back from the retailer or product manufacturer. This may include more details about selected products, reviews, suggestions for complimentary items and more.

Leading the retail trend to real-time, in store mobile merchandising is ClikGenie™, a technology start-up firm. Today, Scanbuy, Inc. announced that ClikGenie Inc. will incorporate its popular ScanLife reader application into ClikGenie's mobile merchandising solution. By using ScanLife, ClikGenie will enable retailers to provide consumers with real-time information on specific products, using special barcodes that are scanned on a mobile phone,
