Responsibilities:

• The Product Manager will work with the marketing and engineering teams to develop compelling new features for the ScanLife system.
• Lead the ideation process of new features with multiple internal and external inputs.

You will be the senior technical person in software testing and automated test within Scanbuy. We will look to you to provide direction with regard to technology and techniques that will supercharge our automated testing and help us overcome the challenges around automated test of mobile handset applications. You will also be a member of a scrum team doing product development.

• Drive our automation test technology to handle multiple apps on mobile handsets and web-based online applications
• ‘Test Infect’ everybody on our product development team
• Provide leadership around testing and test creation as the primary test member of our back end and web application development scrum team

Sr. Systems Admin/Ops – Windows/Linux

Description: Scanbuy is seeking a technical professional in system administration, network administration, and production operations.
Location: Shanghai, China
Reports To: Director, IT (in New York)

Responsibilities:

• Provide support, optimization and administration of network and server systems (Windows and Linux). Configure, maintain and provide technical support for physical and virtual server environments and user desktops.
• Administer data backup and recovery systems.
• Provide technical support for server backed applications to include but not limited to installation, integration, upgrades and client software support.
• Work with Development team to provide required database environment.
• Administer web services to include load balancers, Apache servers, tomcat servers and Database servers (MYSQL) .
• Use shell or Perl scripting to automate processes and maintain the application environments
• Experience with monitoring Services, load, capacity etc on networks
• Maintain source code control systems such as Git, CVS
• Design and deploy office network cabling.
• Coordinate with vendors as needed for integration, maintenance, support and repair of applications, hardware, scanner guns, fax, network, etc.
• Assist in maintaining inventories of hardware, systems software and licenses.
• Answer support emails and tickets and reliably tracks and resolve requests in the company help desk system.
• Provide on-call support after hours and on weekends on a rotational basis.
• Conduct technology research and provides recommendations to management on industry best practices in deployment and optimization of the database environment.
• Serve as the primary interface between the Shanghai Development Office and the American offices.
